Each spoke is one of the 120 most populous capital cities, hottest so far this year first, clockwise from the top, so the ring runs round from the hottest to the coldest. Each ring is a month, January in the middle and this month on the outside.

The number beside each city is its average temperature so far this year, in °C. This month fills in as each day ends.
